Moonshine Clothing

This weeks release was really alot of fun to do. I love it when I feel like I jumped out of my “normal Shelly box”. Still casual (I’m just not gonna make something I have to wear stilettos with..sorry..I like my boots!)

Moppet has a doll-like full layered skirt, square, lace trimmed neckline with a bow accent, sculpted, trimmed bell sleeves and polka-dot leggings. There are some additional options too: I’ve included short glitch pants for those that prefer no leggings or different leggings and the bow has two different attachment points for you. Comes in four really rich colors for the cooler (US) weather.

Also up new this week, Lilah. Swept to one side and loosely braided..traditionally Moonshine it’s a little messy. Comes in 15 colors both tipped and nontipped, and the fatpack includes the 3 bonus colors:

So last week when I put out the men’s hoodies, Ms. Laynie Link made grabby hands for some ladies hoodies, so I proceeded to oblige!

What you’ll find in Nexus tho is much more than a hoodie:

These are shrug hoodies, zip front. First off, there are two hoodies included in each color. One with fur (it’s small fur, not fur that overtakes your sim and tries to eat your prim babies) and one without because I seriously hate alpha sorting, so if you have on longer hair, the without won’t glitch you to death.  The hoodies can be worn easily with or without the sculpted cuffs. The matching pants are tied up in front with slouchy prim cuffs, and I’m really happy with the texture on the pants! Because this is a shrug and all my testers were a bit shocked when I forgot to give them a boob alert in trying them on, I’ve included one racerback tank in each box for you. Feel free to match it with any others you already have in that black hole of an inventory tho!

Ok there’s not many places a blogpost heading like THAT would work, now is there? Another for the “only in Second Life” list.

It’s been some time since I updated the men’s closet so this one is mostly for the guys.  Up first are some knit hoodies. These come in 4 main colors, but each solid also had a two tone included. What can I say..I like choices! Zip-front, sculpted prim hood with flex ties, sculpted cuffs and and sculpted front pocket give loads of realistic details. Also these hoodies look great without the pocket and cuffs in case you want to cut down on attachements:

Next up, new layered tees. These were mainly done for a few friends of mine that are live musicians or DJ’s. Really, if I’m not making things in SL, about the only thing I do is wander the grid in search of good music. And, lastly, on an SL personal note, a long time SL resident and friend decided to wander off the grid, at least for now. Your random scrotum outbursts and sparklies will be missed. We’ll leave a light on for ya.

It started because I wanted some more skinny pants. I really love the lines on a nicely shaped avatar. Take a good look at how well these flatter the bum. I’m especially happy with the texture I came up with for these. Cafe Pants come in four colors, high waisted, tie front, sculpt cuffs:

And because I’m so OCD..next came sweaters to match. I’ve had alot of compliments on the previous sets..thank you ALL! These are a cropped style, with a sculpted/flex tie in front. I’ve made them so they can be worn with or without the sculpted rolled sleeve and with or without the full prims. So you get loads of options with these!

After a hellaciously rough week in both lives, I managed to finally get this week’s releases up today. Pictures are gonna have to do my talking..I’m still in migraine recovery mode.

So much to show you today!I have to start with my favorites. Sere is an updated outfit that comes with a lowcut tank, belted suede skirt and leggings in fabulous fall colors. I paired them with the new boots from Pixel Mode (ok truth told I made them as an excuse to BUY the new boots from Pixel Mode!)

I also have a new hairstyle up this week. Haise is a shoulder length layered ‘do with braids winding from the earlobes to touch your shoulders. **This style has also been added to my lucky chair in a special Candy Corn Texture for the month of October!**

Hair goodies for this week’s release. All three are updo’s.

The next two hairstyles are collaborative efforts between myself and, once again, Faery Sola. Faery has been making some fabulous and funky jewelry and I snagged and begged her to create some hair accessories for a couple of styles. Both of these styles come with the acessories included, so along with looking great, it’s a fantastic bargain!

Today’s newness brings Revel, an offshoulder top with layered flex ruffles and sculpted slightly flared cuffs. In 4 rich colors/patterns it will probably match tons of things in your already bursting inventory.

Also, some changes at MS. With the addition of a store card system, new releases with have new perms. I know I’ve *always* had transfer on my clothing and I know that makes it really easy to give gifts. Sadly, it also makes the mod stuff no copy for which I get TONS of complaints. And it also means I have to continually replace transfer items due to inventory zaps, to make sure you, the customer are happy. Sadly here, I have to make a choice and at this point the cons outweigh the pros of keeping things transfer.
